Overall objective Coordinate and oversee the Clinical IT projects from program management and efficiency perspective and propose solutions for decision making for the director. Beyond that ensure the smooth run of own projects as per the below responsibilities and tasks.

  • Clear understanding the company business goals and overall strategy and managing projects in alignment with that
  • Coordinate roadmap planning for decision making including all IT PMs areas (healthcare)
  • Ensure compliance with Regulatory needs
  • Focal point for all IT PMs (healthcare) about the projects regarding resources, vendors, budgets to ensure smooth, on time start of the projects, continuously follow up on its status
  • Manage and lead the project team
  • Detailed project planning and control including
  • oDeveloping and maintaining a detailed project plan including resource plan, allocation and optimized utilization
  • oManaging project deliverables in line with the project plan
  • Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary
  • oResolve cross-functional issues at project level
  • oManage project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary
  • oMonitor project progress and performance
  • oProvide status reports to the project sponsor
  • oManage project training within the defined budget
  • oLiaise with, and updates progress to, project board/senior management
  • oManaging project evaluation and dissemination activities
  • oManage consultancy input within the defined budget
  • oWorking closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs
  • Definition and management of the User Acceptance Testing programme
  • Identifying user training needs and devising and managing user training programmes
  • Providing regular status reports to the programme team

Basic requirements

  • BA/MA in IT or technical field preferably with Economics knowledge
  • PMP/Agile or other certification in Project Management
  • 3-5 years experience in Healthcare IT field, experience with medical imaging and workflow is a big plus (RIS/PACS)
  • 8-10 years working experience as a Project Manager in IT
  • Knowledge of PM methodologies (PMI, Agile), supporting tools and industry best practices
  • Able to gather relevant information systematically to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Exceptional organizational skills, multitasking
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong risk identification, tracking and mitigation skills
  • Attention to detail, testing and documentation
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with third party service providers and vendors
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and under stress
  • Fluent English
  • Technical background in a hosted services environment including infrastructure networks, hardware, software and telecommunications is an advantage
