Our client is a global beauty company. They are looking for a Digital Delivery Manager who can understand the global business strategies and issues, proactively recommending solutions to improve, whilst considering regional/global business and DigIT strategies. In this role you will define the delivery methodology, ensuring that sprint activities are completed on time and manage sprint demand, planning and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring digital products are maintained and improved. Working with different DigIT teams, vendors and partnering with the local business.
  • Support market roll out of digital applications.
  • Partner with the Solution Delivery Director to manage demand & capacity and delivery of the digital portfolio and initiatives.
  • Ensure project methodologies are followed and that all stage gates and documentation is completed according to the standards in place.
  • Manage processes to ensure efficiency and success of each sprint deployment.
  • Breaking down barriers during a sprint cycle to maintain quality and timelines.
  • Mentoring, training and development of the Scrum Masters and Release Manager
  • Manage team resource versus including variations in demand
  • Partner with the business (cluster and market) and global functions to align on portfolio demand and capacity and in flight project progress.
  • Partner with global and cluster business managers to determine and plan future needs.
  • Partner with global groups and other third party vendors to understand future opportunities.
  • Drive the development of digital application documentation standards.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of Digital application management experience
  • At least 3 years of experience of project methodologies including waterfall and agile
  • A minimum of three years of managing small teams working with a broad range of diverse and complicated business units
  • Strong digital background
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, along with problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills to influence management, as well as internal and external partners
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, as well as effectiveness in matrix management and team building
  • Works well with others in an integrated team environment
  • Self-motivated, and a problem solver
  • Excellent project management skills, with demonstrated track record
  • Excellent management and team-building skills
  • Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate between business requirements and technical design and implementation
  • Business application life cycle experience
  • System development life cycle skills
  • Working knowledge of applications being supported
  • Working knowledge of platform and technologies supporting the business applications
  • Fluent English
  • Advanced PC skills and knowledge
