We are in search of a Systems Engineer who will drive sales engagements into a set of large new enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in navigating complex accounts to generate and deliver winning proposals, contract bids, statements of work, and RFI/RFP responses. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for delivering authorized trainings through our client´s training center.
Responsibilities:
- Respond and resolve critical customer issues (contact person for Support Cases).
- Understanding of customers’ needs and provisioning of technical consultancy to sales department during pre-sales phase.
- Participation in the Training Center as a lecturer of training courses.
- Preparing customized trainings and demos for customers.
- Post-sales support to customers.
- System support and implementation of technical solutions onsite or remote.
- Continuous self-improvement and learning to maintain technical leadership of applicable technologies (data center, SDN, public cloud, security, networking, etc.).
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers working with your Account Manager and the local partners.
- Architect and propose validated solutions which address the identified cybersecurity problems in each unrivaled environment.
- Ensure ongoing customer happiness, support, and adoption.
How do we imagine you?
- 2+ years of experience relevant experiense as a System or Security Engineer.
- Experience with systems installation, configuration and administration of routers/switches, firewalls.
- Experience that emphasizes L2-L4 Networks (L2 switching architectures including Spanning Tree, IP routing that includes OSPF and BGP, and L4 Load balancing).
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex multivariate problems and find a systematic approach to gain a quick resolution, often under duress.
- Mature and effective time-management skills.
- Prior experience with network infrastructure-based security appliances, including but not limited to: Firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPNs, Security Proxies, etc.
- Experience and knowledge of modern network threats and malware, network forensics, automation tools and technologies, and endpoint security technologies.
- Nice to have: working knowledge of Palo Alto Networks products, with a focus on Next-Generation Firewall and some comparative technologies.
- Significant industry certifications (PCNSE, CCNP, JNCIP etc.) or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Must also be fluent in local language as this role supports local channel partners.
- The more experience you have, the better, but you do not need to know everything.
