Our client has more than 40 years of research and development in the field of gambling systems made our company a worldwide leading supplier of gambling products. To support their team in Budapest, we are looking for a system engineer. Our partner offers a fixed 14 monthly salary and other benefits (Medicover and cafeteria).
Tasks
- Ensure office IT support, complete tasks based on JIRA tickets
- Execute Team leaders requests ü Working together with Vienna team to resolve any IT related incident
- System management on computers in the premises
- Hardware and software support for users and servers (Windows and Linux systems) Provide assistance and technical support for integrated systems deliveries
- If it is necessary, prepare complete workspaces (assemble table/chair , prepare PC) Executing backups according to backup procedure using VEEAM backup software Hardware-Software inventory management
- Monitoring and managing switchboard and phones
- Current upkeep / care / maintenance / upgrades
- Reporting
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years relevant experience – Must have!
- Good knowledge of Linux systems is mandatory.
- Good/deep knowledge of Microsoft systems is mandatory (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, GPO)
- IP networking, virtualization and backup systems experience is required
- Basic knowledge of SAN, FC, storage systems
- Work experience with server hardware
- Excellent English (verbal & written) is mandatory, good German is desirable
- Stress resistant, team player, ready to work in shifts
- Careful work style and durability
- High quality and responsibility in own work
