Our international partner, based in Budapest, in the 1st district is looking for a System Administrator.
The candidate works closely with their customer, functional business units and software developers to administer the customers system to accomplish operation 24/5. This position reports directly to the local Head of Operations.
Tasks
- Provision / operation of customers system 24/7
- Current upkeep / care / maintenance / upgrades
- Analysis and removal of occurring problems according to documentation
- Performing backups and restores
- Constant communication to involved units and partners
- Reporting
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Linux systems is mandatory, Oracle and Application Servers are desirable
- IP networking, virtualization and backup systems experience is required
- Basic knowledge of SAN, FC, storage systems
- Work experience with server hardware
- Excellent English (verbal & written) is mandatory, good German is desirable
- Stress resistant, team player, ready to work in shifts
- Previous experience in working according to ITIL based processes and functions is desirable
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Bachelor degree is an advantage
