Our client is the global IT service provider for a global insurance company and delivers IT solutions that drive the digitalization of the Company Group. With more than 10,000 employees located in 36 countries around the globe, they work together with other insurance entities in leading IT for the worldwide digitalization of the Company. They are now hiring a SOFTWARE ASSET MANAGEMENT ENGINEER (LICENCE MANAGER).
Tasks
- Technical specialist for ServiceNow SAM Pro
- Implement and drive ServiceNow SAM Pro technical changes and developments
- Design and implement technical interfaces between ServiceNow and SCCM, Nexthink, ILMT, CMDB
- Program and configure APIs to get SaaS and Cloud portals connected with the SAM Pro Tool
- Create and implement scripts for the software data gathering not covered by the native SAM tool
- Ensure sustainable internal controlling system of all license management processes and legal / commercial regulations
- Drive incident management and service improvement with Service Owner
- Synchronize product- and technology structure with Company Group IT strategy
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT and Software Asset Management Tools
- Knowledge about the different license metric (Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience in working with data, preparing reports, analytical background
- JavaScript programming experience
- Specialized in either ServiceNow SAM Pro, ServiceNow ITOM or other SAM Tools
- Experience with analytical, data processing and report generation of compliance positions
- Very good understanding of IT solutions architectures required for software discovery (Virtualization, Container, Cloud, Windows, Unix, etc.)
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
