A leading company in the energy industry that is dedicated to providing sustainable technologies and services to improve the efficiency and sustainability of operations is currently looking for a talented Senior SharePoint Developer who has experience in supporting existing on-premise environments (2010, 2013) and evaluating/upgrading solutions built on top of these to the SharePoint online environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to deliver world-class SharePoint solutions that meet clients´ needs.
In this role a typical day will include
- Supporting the organization by implementing SharePoint solutions within the environment
- Working with key stakeholders throughout the development process
- Improve and/or upgrade existing SharePoint sites to SharePoint Online sites
- Designing, maintaining and developing workflows, lists, forms, and dashboards
- Designing Documentation, Content Migration, Testing, Deployment and User Training
- Ensuring SharePoint site standardization via site and content templates, metadata tagging, workflows, and reporting
- Communicating effectively with customers on a day-to-day basis
- Responding to user initiated help desk tickets and provide resolution to issues as required
- Maintaining and refining permissions and SharePoint groups to assist lead developer on ensuring proper security controls are in place
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of SharePoint development experience
- Experience in developing and managing web parts, creating custom lists, pages and InfoPath
- Idea candidate would have worked on upgrade of on-premise SharePoint environment (2010, 2013) to SharePoint Online (O365)
- Broad understanding of front-end development utilizing open-source content management systems (MODX, WordPress) experience with MODX is a plus
- Understanding of the following technologies C#, ASP.NET, PowerShell, XML, CAML, JSON, CSS3, jQuery, and HTML5
- Good understanding of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc) and be able to upgrade existing environments by using these technologies
- Basic working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and version control systems (git, svn)
- Ensure that applications comply with our UX and Enterprise brand standards
- May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
