Our client is the global IT service provider for a global insurance company and delivers IT solutions that drive the digitalization of the Company Group. With more than 10,000 employees located in 36 countries around the globe, they work together with other insurance entities in leading IT for the worldwide digitalization of the Company. They are now hiring a SERVICENOW SOLUTION ARCHITECT.
Tasks
- Analyze client requirements and product specifications in order to design in ServiceNow, estimate and propose a technical solution
- Develop or coordinate the development of features according to best practices in ServiceNow
- Working according to their SDLC (Software Delivery Lifecycle) process to document and deliver the requirements
- Develop a solution as per design in ServiceNow and raise technical risks
- Maintain and document design, technical descriptions as per industry best practices
- Be the subject matter expert at executive briefings, workshops, Architecture Board meetings and marketing events
- Reuse and extend the current implementation and contribute with improvements
- Deliver within estimated time, take responsibility for the task and its timeline
- Maintain communication with client counterparts in a professional and goal-oriented manner
Requirements
- Completed degree with a focus on information technology (Computer Science etc.) or similar qualification
- Multiple years of experience in the IT industry with focus on software architecture, e.g. as a solution architect, enterprise architect or system engineer
- Understanding of an agile work environment and able to work inside Scrum-based (or similar) projects
- Experience with application development lifecycle frameworks and tools
- Fluency in third party integrations using web services (SOAP and REST), JDBC, and file-based parsers
- Experience with working or developing with JavaScript – HTML, Jelly Script, jQuery, Ajax,backbone.js, Node.js, Prototype and AngularJS
- Experience identifying and resolving potential trade-offs or conflicts among architectural options, and ability to align this with business outcomes or impacts
- Very good skills in technical analysis and with feasibility and effort estimations
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
