Our client is an international technology group that serves companies from all industries in over 20 countries. To support the existing team, our client is currently looking for a Senior Tester BI in Vienna.
Tasks
- Planning, coordination and execution of comprehensive tests for data warehouse and business intelligence systems
- Development and implementation of test automation scripts for DWH/BI applications
- Creating comprehensive test strategies and plans based on industry standards and best practices
- Continuous improvement of automation solutions
- Support with test data management
- Collaborate with other teams to maximize test coverage
- Identify, analyze, document and track bugs and defects
- Execution of performance and load tests
Requirements
- Experience in automated testing of DWH/BI systems
- Experience in the planning, preparation and execution of load tests
- SQL queries and experience with database management tools
- Working with business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI)
- ETL processes and data modeling
- Data gathering (Talend, ElasticSearch, RMQ)
- Data processing (PySpark, Azure Synaps Analytics)
- Transformation (C#)
- Agile way of working in crossfunctional teams/ agile mindset – SCRUM or Kanban
- Knowledge and skills
