As a Senior Software Engineer on our AI Products team, you build the robust, user-centric applications that bring our cutting-edge AI to our customers. You are a versatile and product-minded engineer who excels at building scalable backend systems and seamless user interfaces. You are the primary consumer and integrator of the intelligent APIs created by our Generative AI Engineers. Your mission is to take that raw intelligence and transform it into a compelling, reliable, and valuable product.
What You´ll Do:
- Design and build the backend services and business logic for our user-facing applications (primarily in Node.js/TypeScript or Python).
- Integrate and consume internal/external GenAI/ML APIs, working closely with Machine Learning Engineers to define clear API contracts and ensure seamless communication between services.
- Develop the frontend interfaces and user experiences that make our AI features intuitive and powerful (using React).
- Manage the application´s data persistence, database schemas (e.g., PostgreSQL), and caching strategies.
- Take full ownership of your features, from technical design and implementation to deployment and ensuring high availability in production.
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, and actively contribute to a culture of engineering excellence through code reviews.
What You´ll Bring:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong portfolio of building and shipping scalable, production-grade applications.
- Expertise in building robust backend systems and RESTful APIs in at least one modern language (e.g., Node.js/TypeScript, Python).
- Strong experience with a modern frontend framework (React is a strong plus).
- Deep understanding of system design, microservice architecture, and database principles.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure preferred), Docker, and CI/CD practices.
- You don´t need to be an ML expert, but you must have experience working with and consuming complex APIs, including GenAI. You are excited by the challenge of building products on top of AI services.
