As a Senior Software Engineer, youll be working on our data collection, data processing and data reporting platform that enables large scale evaluation of medias. Youll be building and maintaining a scalable system in an environment where what you do has direct and immediate impact. You will work tightly with our data engineers and data scientists and computer vision engineers to evolve the current system.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and upgrade components in data collection, data processing and data reporting
- Provider software engineering guidance and mentor junior colleagues
- Assume operational ownership of subsystems
- Participate in designing and implementing the future of client core systems
We have a diverse tech stack, you can work with
- C#, ASP.Net MVC, and vanilla JavaScript on the data collection platform
- C#, ASP.Net MVC, React.js and TypeScript on the data reporting platform
- C# or Python on the data processing platform
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining software systems using strongly typed OOP language. (Like JAVA, .NET/C#)
- Comfortable working with large datasets on traditional SQL databases or on data lakes
- Working knowledge of AWS services (S3, Kinesis, SQS, etc.) or equivalent in other cloud providers
- Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
- Able to work with minimal supervision and frequently changing requirements
- Proactively working to improve the software
- Equally interested in data engineering and general software engineering areas
- Its not required to know every framework, language and tool from day one, but you should be opened to learn new things
