We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join the team of our Japanese car manufacturing partner.
Tasks:
- Run/Level 3 support
- Incident Management & Analysis
- Call Triage & Prioritisation
- Proximity / Onsite Support with Short Notice Mobility
- Remote Troubleshooting
- Cross-Team Collaboration Telecoms, Servers, WAN, IT Security
- Infrastructure Monitoring
- Security Vulnerability Monitoring, SOC Reporting & Patch Deployment
- CMDB, Life-cycle monitoring & Ownership
- Single entry point for NE Network Queries, e.g. Performance improvements, Hardware selection
- Develop deep understanding of NE network topology, infrastructure, processes, contacts & regional history to enhance quality of service
- Design and Build Capability for New / Upgraded Office LAN & WiFi deployments
- Secure Vendor Connectivity Requests
- Firewall Change Requests Coordination of Business & 3rd Party Requirements
- Site-to-Site VPN Change Requests
- Infrastructure Access Management / TACACS+
- Vendor Liaison Maintenance, WAN, Hybrid Cloud
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience directly providing and coordinating network support and consultancy for large multi-national, multi-cultural enterprises, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record facing and successfully managing / resolving large-scale or high impact network related incidents.
- Minimum Education & Qualifications
- Valid certification mandatory for at least one, preferably two, of the following
- CCNP Routing & Switching
- CCNP Security
- CCNP Wireless
- CCDP
- Valid certification desirable for any of the following
Valid certification desirable for any of the following:
- CCDE
- CCIE Routing & Switching
- CCIE Security
- CCIE Wireless
- Specific Technical Skills
- Software knowledge
