Our client in public sector based in Vienna is looking for a Senior .Net Developer. Strong English and German language skills required.
Tasks
- Implementation of the system connections to the event stream
- Implementation of the facades around two central event aggregators
- Implementation of a central service for event search and indexing based on Elasticsearch / Azure search or similar solutions
- Guidance and sparring partner for internal teams in finding solutions and coding
- Contributing experience and deep technical know-how to implement API Facade, API Gateway and Search Engine.
- Perform code & design reviews
Requirements
- Experience as (Senior) Developer > 6 years
- Experience with event streaming (Apache Kafka and Confluent Cloud)
- Experience with connecting complex, distributed (legacy) systems to an event stream
- Experience with API Facade/Gateway Pattern and GraphQL APIs
- Experience with search engines (Elasticsearch, Azure search) and indexes
- Experience with CDC (change data capture) and related concepts
- Experience with hyperscalers (Microsoft Azure preferred)
- Experience with logistics processes
- Knowledge of multiple programming languages and development environments
- .NET/C# development skills: > 6 years
- Web services development (SOAP, REST): > 6 years
- Relational databases > 6 years
- Version control (GIT, TFS) > 6 years
- Microsoft Azure: > 2 year
- API Management: > 2 year
- Completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
- Excellent knowledge of agile software development methods in practice and use of supporting tools (e.g. Azure DevOps)
