Our partner is looking for experienced Frontend JavaScript developers with SAP UI5 knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and support application solutions running on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Platform (Cloud) with JavaScript
- Close collaboration with fellow development team members
- Close collaboration with Architect / Team Lead to follow same design principles across multiple
- Cloud Products
- Code ownership own the code and make it better, if required after several iteration
- Participation on Code Review sessions
- Analyze business requirements and make effort estimations
Requirements
- BsC University Degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering
- Good English communication skill (written and verbal)
- Very strong JavaScript experience
- Hands on experience in HTML5 and CSS
- Experience in at least one javascript framework, e.g. UI5, react, angular
- Experience in calling backend services from javascript, e.g. OData
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
- Enthusiastic team player with positive spirit
- Open minded, problem-solving attitude
- Ability to work in new, dynamic environments
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly new concepts and technologies
- Customer handling and communication with service attitude
- Highly customer and service oriented with a strong focus on quality
Considered as extra
- Expertise in SAP BTP Administration / Development (previous BTP knowledge is not required)
- Experience with JavaScript Backend frameworks e.g. nodeJS
- Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model(CAP) framework
- Experience with SAP UI5 library / OData
- Experience in CI/CD technologies, e.g. Jenkins
