What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with a friendly, skilled development team
- Plan and structure solid, scalable codebases
- Share knowledge and participate in code reviews
- Option to lead a team or mentor other developers
- Own projects end-to-endfrom kickoff through deployment
- Communicate with clients regularly
- Contribute ideas to improve our workflows and tech stack
What We’re Looking For
- Backend
- Strong Node.js skills
- Comfortable choosing tech stacks and setting up projects
- Experience with Express/NestJS, SQL/NoSQL, ORMs
- Solid testing practices (unit, integration, E2E)
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker (bonus Kubernetes)
- Strong CS fundamentals and code architecture skills
- Understand project lifecycles and performance optimization
- Frontend
- Expert in React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Proficient in HTML/CSS and responsive design
- Skilled with state management, animations, and reusable components
Nice to Have
- Vue.js, GraphQL, React Native or native mobile dev
- Familiarity with other languages (Python, Go, Rust, etc.)
- Eye for design
- Computer Science degree
- Japanese language skills
