Our partner is looking for experienced Backend ABAP developers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and support of application solutions running on SAP Business Technology Platform with (BTP) ABAP with multi-tenancy
- Product development with close collaboration with fellow development team members
- Code ownership own the code and make it better, if required after several iteration
- Participation on Code Review sessions
- Analyze business requirements and make effort estimations and risk / impact analysis
- Data Modeling, review and implementation with RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP)
Requirements
- Very strong ABAP / Data Modeling (with CDS Views) experience according to the newest language elements
- Hands-On experience with Object Oriented ABAP including conceptualization, development and support
- Experience with OData protocol and service exposure
- Quality-focused approach down to object/variable-naming
- Ability to translate business requirements to Data Model & Solution Design and Implementation
- Strong experience with SQL, db table design, queries by also taking performance aspects into consideration
- Familiarity with E2E testing and debugging, network analysis
- Experience in API testing with REST Client e.g. Postman
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
Considered as extra
- Experience with ABAP Backend frameworks like RAP or BOPF
- SAPUI5 / JavaScript experience
- Expertise in add-on build, and deployment (SAINT)
- Expertise in SAP BTP Administration / Development
- Experience in CI/CD technologies, e.g. Jenkins
