Our partner is looking for experienced ABAP developers.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using SAP CAPM (Node.js/Java).
- Build and expose OData/REST APIs and integrate them with SAP UI5/Fiori applications.
- Implement AI/GenAI solutions (SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, SAP Joule, or external LLMs) into business processes.
- Work with SAP HANA, CDS views, and CAP services for data modeling and business logic implementation.
- Develop extensions for S/4HANA and SAP PLM using CAP and AI capabilities.
- Integrate Event Mesh, messaging services, and cloud-native patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional consultants, data scientists, and business stakeholders).
- Apply security concepts (XSUAA, JWT tokens, role-based authorization).
- Ensure code quality with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Git-based workflows.
- Stay updated on SAP BTP, CAP, AI/ML trends and provide recommendations for adoption.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in SAP development, with at least 3+ years in SAP CAPM.
- Strong knowledge of Node.js (preferred) or Java, CAP framework, and CDS modeling.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services (XSUAA, Destination, Connectivity, Event Mesh, CI/CD).
- Practical experience integrating AI/GenAI models (SAP AI Core/AI Launchpad, CAP LLM plugin, or external APIs like OpenAI).
- Knowledge of SAP HANA SQL, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with SAPUI5/Fiori development and frontend-backend integration.
- Experience with cloud-native development (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
- Understanding of authentication/authorization flows in SAP BTP.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience with LangChain, LangSmith, or similar AI orchestration tools.
- Exposure to SAP PLM, SAP PP/DS, or Recipe Development.
- Experience in DevOps & observability tools (Grafana, Kibana, SAP Alert Notification).
- Knowledge of Python for AI integration.
- SAP certifications in BTP, CAP, or AI.
