We are seeking a Senior Azure Cloud/Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer to join our partner´s team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure Cloud, Infrastructure, and DevOps practices. While Azure software development experience is a plus, it is not a primary requirement.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to optimize software deployment and automation.
- Develop and enforce cloud security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, optimizing performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration between infrastructure and applications.
- Automate cloud operations and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).
- Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (AKS) or other container orchestration platforms.
- Optimize cost and resource management for cloud environments.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure and DevOps best practices, continuously improving processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Azure Cloud, Infrastructure, and DevOps.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and security tools in a cloud environment.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.).
- Ability to troubleshoot networking, security, and performance issues in Azure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
- Azure software development experience is a plus but not a core requirement.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
