As an SAP SuccessFactors Application Manager, you will actively shape the operation and further development of SAP SuccessFactors and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes. A dedicated team in Vienna is responsible for the Employee Central, Onboarding, Learning, and Recruiting modules and ensures their ongoing optimization.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the stable operation and continuous optimization of SAP SuccessFactors modules.
- Handle Incident and Problem Management in 2nd Level Support, including ticket processing and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Development, Architecture, QA, and Project Management teams.
- Maintain regular communication with customers and stakeholders.
- Participate in requirements workshops and support requirements specification activities.
- Assist with rollouts, releases, and the introduction of new functionalities.
- Play a key role in the initial implementation of new SuccessFactors modules.
- Actively contribute to the establishment of processes and organizational structures.
Technical & Personal Requirements
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, ideally with a strong focus on Employee Central (higher priority than other modules).
- Experience with modules such as Time Management or Travel Management is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn and work with additional SuccessFactors modules.
- Previous experience in Application Management and/or 2nd Level Support is advantageous.
- Technical understanding, including debugging knowledge, is beneficial but not required.
- Knowledge of OpenShift and Path is a plus.
- Programming experience is not required, though occasional bug fixing may be involved.
- High motivation and willingness to learn (deep specialist knowledge is not expected from day one).

Your Profile
- Completed technical or business-related education (e.g., technical college, university, university of applied sciences) or comparable professional experience.
- At least 4 years of experience with SAP SuccessFactors or SAP systems, including configuration activities.
- Strong willingness to learn and continuously develop expertise (e.g., through SAP Learning Hub).
- Analytical mindset and the ability to understand complex relationships.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer-oriented skills.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new topics and working in complex environments.
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken.
