Our partner is looking for experienced ABAP developers.
Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and actively participate in client workshops and meetings
- Develop custom solutions across RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
- Build ALV and Webdynpro reports (LIST & TREE GUIBB, POWL)
- Develop integration solutions (IDOC, Proxy, Restful ABAP Programming – RAP)
- Create Adobe Forms and Excel reports using transformations
- Work with PLM architecture components (SPI, FPM, Webdynpro, POWL, GUIBB)
- Support functional processes: Recipe, Specification, Engineering Change Record, Formula calculations, Recipe explosions
- Design and build UI5 applications, supporting frontend developers via OData and backend applications using SEGW and RAP (CDS views)
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide long-term fixes
- Contribute in agile project environments, supporting full end-to-end implementation cycles
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of SAP ABAP development experience, with at least 3 years in PLM Recipe Development (would be great, but we could be flexible with that)
- Understanding of PLM architecture and functional processes
- Strong technical expertise in ABAP (classic and modern: RAP, OData, CDS views)
- Hands-on experience with SAP integration technologies (IDOC, Proxy, APIs)
- Proven ability to analyze and resolve issues independently
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
Nice to have:
- Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Chemicals, or Pharmaceutical industries
