We are looking for a Senior Associate to join the SAP Tax Transformation team. The role focuses on supporting global clients with indirect tax digitalization initiatives, SAP DRC and e-Invoicing implementations, and complex ERP transformation projects.
We are seeking a professional with hands-on SAP Tax experience, a solid understanding of VAT/GST processes, and the ability to bridge business requirements with technology solutions in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in leading client workshops to capture functional requirements and document user needs
- Support the creation and maintenance of functional design documentation to ensure compliance with indirect tax statutory reporting and E-Invoicing requirements
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for the digitalization of indirect tax processes, with a focus on E-Invoicing and statutory reporting
- Analyse country-specific indirect tax statutory reporting and E-Invoicing regulations and translate them into actionable technical specifications
- Collaborate with technical delivery teams to deploy SAP E-Invoicing solutions in partnership with clients’ IT and tax departments.
- Support client teams during user acceptance testing to validate solution functionality
- Stay informed on emerging trends and advancements in tax technology (e.g.: SAP DRC, VIDA)
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Taxation, Computer Science, or a related field
- SAP Tax Experience, ideally with 1-2 end to end SAP DRC implementation project
- Experience in multi-country indirect taxation (e.g., VAT, GST) and technology solutions (e.g., DRC)
- Familiarity with E-Invoicing systems and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Peppol)
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and tax technology solutions (e.g., Avalara, Vertex) is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to convert complex regulatory requirements into technical solutions (e.g., tax user understanding on SAP FI, SD, MM)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- S/4HANA implementation experience is a plus
