Tasks
- Manage Open Source software delivery
- Optimize and automate Open Source software delivery process ensuring it becomes part of development-operations activities of service teams
- Develop and manage a detailed schedule and work plan in short, mid and long-term, set milestone targets and adhere to deadlines
- Track ongoing status, adjust plans as needed, identify and manage risks, facilitate escalations and provide updates to program leads and management
- Identify, communicate and remove impediments that block product standard objectives
- Measure status and progress identifying areas for improvement
- Serve as a single point of contact for a product standard
- Design and create presentation materials sharing the product standard status and improvement plan
Experience
- 2+ years of professional experience in project management or related roles
- University education in computer science
- Knowledge of open source licenses, certifications in area of Software development
- Strong familiarity with development, quality-assurance and project management methodologies and best practices
- Ability to manage product standard improvments in project management manner
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and fluency in English (verbal, presentation, written), with a high degree of attention to detail
- Proven experience working with teams across large organizations (across locations a plus)
- Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
- Excellent team player who can work with virtual, global, and cross-functional teams, friendly and approachable
- Fluency in English
Advantage
- Quality Assurance and Project Management are a plus
- Bulgarian language is considered a significant advantage
