We are looking for a Medior Test Automation Engineer in our multinational partners team to Budapest, with 100% home-office opportunity (office work for up to 2 days a month, at fixed times with the team) and flexible working hours. Our partner is a leading software and hardware provider on the emerging Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure communication market, with a mission to increase traffic safety and efficiency on the road. As a Test Automation Engineer of the team, you will have the opportunity to assure excellent quality of cutting edge solutions unleashing the potential of connected cars/infrastructure.
The selection process consists of 2 rounds. To be considered for this position, you must have at least 3+ years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer, experience in UI testing and be fluent in English.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience in Java
- Experience in web application test automation framework (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber).
- Experience in UI testing
- Ability and willingness to learn quickly and meet deadlines
- Great communication skills in Hungarian and English
- Experience in Agile environment
Nice to have
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Experience working with customers in automotive or smart city industry
- Experience in basic SQL query writing
- Web maps and related technologies (e.g. Google Maps, Mapbox, Open Street Map, etc.)
- Experience in test case management software with Jira integration
- Java programming experience
- Linux or Unix experience
- ISTQB certificate
Responsibilities
- At Medior role, you are responsible for
- – End-to-end testing of our complex web applications
- – Planning and establishing scalable test framework for web applications
- – Planning, documentation and implementation of automated test cases.
- – Running automated regression test sets, analyzing and reporting the results.
- – Creating and handling bug reports, problem-solving.
- – Developing and maintaining existing test framework
- At Senior role, you are responsible for
- – Working on the test strategy of our partners Device and Data Management Platform and other products ensuring delivering the business value desired by the customer at frequent intervals, working at a sustainable pace
- – Working closely with Product Management and defining, maintaining and applying risk-based test plans
- – Managing test planning, documentation, execution, and reporting
- – Creating test cases to be automated for regression testing
- – Monitoring the results of automated tests
- – End-to-end testing of our complex web applications
- – Getting developers actively involved in testing
- – Continuously improving the testing processes
