We are looking for an experienced API Egnineer for a long-term project with Java, Spring and English knowledge.
Tasks
- You will create business services/APIs to enable the delivery of a high-quality data-driven product.
- You will be accountable for managing high-quality datasets exposed for internal and external consumption by downstream users and applications.
- Given the highly execution-focused nature of the work, the ideal candidate will roll up their sleeves to ensure that their projects meet deadlines and will always look for ways to optimize processes in future cycles.
- Be up to date with the latest API tech trends and recommend them as needed.
- Be responsible for API design, documentation, development and delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include retiring or enhancing legacy APIs to meet current data and application needs.
- Partner closely with web developers to ensure UI requirements are met in an efficient manner
Experience
- 2 – 5 years experience in Java with robust object-oriented design pattern knowledge and implementation experience.
- 2 -5 experience in Java frameworks like Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Kafka
- Experience writing and supporting reusable and maintainable APIs
- Good understanding of writing SQL Queries
- Knowledge of Cloud Technologies like Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, distributed systems and high-performance computing is highly desired
- Create well-written code that runs efficiently and optimally with solid knowledge of writing unit testing

- Excited about technology, have a strong interest in learning about and playing with modern technologies and building compelling applications
- Enjoys a fast paced, high-intensity and complex environment, troubleshooting time sensitive critical issues and working with people
- Experience working in an agile scrum development environment
- Understand the value of well documented API and API technology stacks.
- Willing to be working with global organization with teams across different time zones.
