The Frontend Developer is responsible for implementing visual and interactive elements in high quality, building the client-side of our web applications, websites. The developer is working closely with the Technology team, the UX/UI team, the Project Management team and also occasionally with client team members.
Responsibilities
- Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages
- Maintain and improve website code and quality
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with back-end developers, UI/UX designers to improve usability
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Create pull requests, assess and fix errors, do pair programming
- Do proper self-testing on projects
- Create unit test for specific logics
- Debug and fix bugs that has been created/found through the life of the projects
- Plan ahead and mitigate technical risk on projects
Requirements
- 3+ years of frontend developer experience (HTML, CSS, Javascript (ES6))
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Experience in Adobe Photoshop, with Adobe Illustrator skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience developing enterprise web applications
- Experience in understanding of preprocessors like SASS
- Experience with RESTful services and APIs
- Experience in testing and debugging (frameworks, methodologies, tools)
- Experience in web-accessibility (WCAG), ability to write strong semantic mark up
- Excellent understanding of the latest frontend technologies (frameworks, tools)
- Ability to evaluate and use 3rd party systems, external libraries
- Experience of Agile development methods, preferably Scrum
- Experience of WebGL and canvas animation and frameworks
- Experience in Gulp/Grunt/Yarn
- Hands-on experience of modern JS technologies, such as React/React Native/AngularJS
- Ability to create unit and integration tests
- Ability to follow clean code practices
