We are looking for a Medior/Senior DevOps-Cloud Engineer in our multinational partners team to Budapest, with 4 days/week Home-office opportunity.
Our partner is an Edtech startup on a mission to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions to the education and academic sectors. Their core objective is to boost scientific research and education by integrating and leveraging the most recent computation, data and cloud technology advancements.
You will work closely with the backend development team (4 people) and the head of product in our Budapest office.
You must have advanced English language and 3+ years DevOps experience to fill the position.
Requirements
- 3+ years DevOps experience
- Strong Kubernetes and containerization skills
- Solid understanding of networking
- Deep experience with Linux and security
- Experience with cloud based infrastructure
Nice to have
- Experience with distributed filesystems (e.g. CephFS)
You will be responsible for
- Implementing and maintaining best-practices within our cloud (Azure) based infrastructure
- Creating and maintaining relevant metrics and alerts for our infrastructure
- Improving infrastructure resiliency through stress-tests and chaos scenarios
- Handling application containerization and automatizing the updates / tests of containerized applications
- Applying security best practices
- Monitoring usage patterns and any potential anomalies in user activity
