We are looking a strong candidate to join as the lead developer on an exciting international project for an existing client. The client is a leading solution provider for employee benefits program in the DACH markets.
The development team is in Budapest, Szeged & Sofia and the client is based in Germany and Spain. The language of the development team and the client communication is in English, but some German language skills would be very useful.
We are looking for someone who likes to work in a stable workplace and prefers long term product development in Python in an agile environment.
Tasks
- Working closely with the business
- Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Technical management of the Python project
- Building efficient, high quality back-end features in Python
- Implementing software enhancements and suggest improvements
- Manage testing and bug fixes
- Following agile software development principles
- Participating in client meetings
- Creating and reviewing estimations
- Organizing and conducting technical meetings
- Conduct technical interviews and assess potential candidates for the development team
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development
- Integrating front-end components into the application
- Preparing technical documentation
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as Software Developer
- 3+ years of experience as Python Developer
- Excellent Python coding skills
- Experience with Angular would be very useful
- Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Good knowledge of Django, or Flask, Bottle, or similar Python frameworks
- Knowledge of ORM (Object Relational Mapping)
- Familiarity with various testing tools such a X-ray
- Solid Object-Oriented programming skills
- Good understanding of databases, MySQL & MongoDB
- Basic CI / CD knowledge
- Good written & verbal communication skills (English, Hungarian)
