We are looking a strong Lead Python develoepr for an exciting international project, where the client is a leading solution provider for employee benefits programme in the DACH markets. We expect good communication skills in English, and to be agile and dedicated to high quality work.
Requirements
- BSc / MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering or a related subject or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as Software Developer
- 3+ years of experience as Python Developer
- Strong English knowledge
Knowledge / Skills
- Excellent Python coding skills
- Experience with Angular would be very useful
- Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Good knowledge of Django, Flask, Bottle or similar Python frameworks
- Knowledge of ORM (Object Relational Mapping)
- Familiarity with various testing tools such a X-ray
- Solid Object-Oriented programming skills
- Good understanding of databases, mySQL & Mungo
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent Leadership skills
- Basic CI / CD knowledge
Responsibilities
- Liaising closely with our project director who is managing the change within the programme
- Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Technical management of the Python project
- Building efficient, high quality back-end features in Python
- Implementing software enhancements and suggest improvements
- Manage testing and bug fixes
- Following agile software development principles
- Participating in client meetings
- Creating and reviewing estimations
- Organizing and conducting technical meetings
- Integrating front-end components into the application
- Preparing technical documentation
