We are looking for a Junior/Medior UX /UI engineer in our multinational partners team to Budapest, with 4 days/week home-office opportunity.
Our partner is an Edtech startup on a mission to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions to the education and academic sectors. Their core objective is to boost scientific research and education by integrating and leveraging the most recent computation, data and cloud technology advancements.
You will work closely with the backend development team, the head of product and under the direct supervision and mentoring of a Senior Front-End developer colleague.
You must have advanced English language skills and 1+ year Frontend experience (Vue.js, Angular, React) to fill the position.
Requirements
- 1+ year Frontend experience (Angular/ React/ Vue.js)
- Advanced English language skills both oral and written
- Technical openness to learn about the applications and software our clients run (e.g. JupyterLab, Rstudio, Matlab, etc..)
- Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on empathy and understanding of user pain points
You will be responsible for
- Working on front-end implementation, UX optimization and customer support for our product
- Implementing accepted front-end features, reviewing user behaviour and pain-points using our logging stack (e.g. LogRocket) and responding to user support requests
- Maintaining and expanding the test-coverage for our front-end codebase
- The implementation of our front-end is done via Vue.js+Vuetify and you are expected to make daily contributions to our codebase under the guidance of a Senior Front-end developer colleague and based on reviewing user-behaviour from our logging stack
- Supporting requests that arrive through the integrated chat-based communication tool
