We are currently seeking experienced Senior Java Developers to join our partner’s team as Contingent Workers for a long-term project focused primarily on bug fixing and maintenance of critical systems. This is a fully remote opportunity, offering the chance to work in an international environment with cutting-edge technologies alongside highly skilled professionals.
Tasks
- Perform bug fixing and system maintenance in Java-based applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional, international teams to ensure application stability and performance
- Analyze and resolve technical issues reported from production and development environments
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to internal standards
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the overall quality of the codebase.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members in English
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in backend Java development
- Strong knowledge of Java and the Spring ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with Cassandra, Redis, and/or Sybase (or similar databases)
- Proven track record in bug fixing and maintaining complex systems
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoke
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, international setting
- Comfortable with contractor (CWK) setup
Nice to have
- Experience working in large-scale, international enterprise environments
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
- Exposure to other JVM-based technologies
