We are looking for an experienced IT License Manager with a strong command of English to join the team of our German-based partner specializing in defense and automotive products.
Tasks:
- As a member of our central software license management team, you will be point of contact for software licensing needs with a focus on Oracle.
- Software license consulting regarding Oracle software and contracts in use at the company and its customers
- Consulting regarding the software requests by different projects
- Life cycle and post-life cycle management of cloud, server, client, access and user software licenses of the company and its customers
- Monitor and enforce changes to the terms and conditions of licenses
- Handle software license aspects of topics for the different IT areas as on- premises to cloud migration, digitalization, automation, training solutions, product selection
- Work together in cooperation with software licensor to identify the best solution for the company and its customers
- Optimizing software and license management processes, proposing consolidation and increasing efficiency
- Work out and implement measures to sustainably optimize the license costs
- Various tasks ranging from strategic to operational activities, covering the entire spectrum of licensing topics
Requirements:
- Years of professional experience in Software License Management
- Years of professional experience in Oracle licensing
- Good knowledge of IT infrastructure / IT software
- Experience in project management in an international environment
- Communicative and social skills for teamwork
- Good knowledge of Microsoft tools SharePoint / Excel
- Good proficiency in English (business level), both written and spoken
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of software license management tools (e.g. Flexera)
- Knowledge of collaboration tools (e.g. Jira & Confluence)
- German language skills are an advantage
