As Head of Security Engineering, you will be the leader of our 5-6 skilled security experts and you will be responsible for the delivery, not just by overseeing and coordinating the work, but being active part of the daily execution. The team, together with its regional counterparts is responsible for the security infrastructure both on-premise and in the cloud, while supporting the work of other security related activities. You will also work closely with other security, infrastructure, and network teams in a regional environment.
Tasks
- Managing, leading security engineers to ensure the highest quality and efficiency of the execution
- Keeping the motivation and satisfaction level of the team high
- Ensuring the service KPIs
- Taking active part in the daily execution together with the team
- Taking part in development and maintenance of the responses to security problems
- Taking part in financial planning and the assurance of the efficient operation
- Collaborating with other members of the management team to formulate the corporate and regional strategy
- Promote and actively contribute to new initiatives
- Contributing to the development of processes, service and technology capabilities to ensure the continuous improvement
- Collaborate across security domains in an international work environment
Requirements
- College or university degree preferably in Economics, Business Studies or in IT engineering with an IT Security background
- Excellent knowledge in cyber security, proven work experience (security architecture design, planning, engineering, operations are highly preferred)
- Knowledge of information security standards, frameworks and practices, and awareness of the actual threat landscape
- Hands-on experience in other fields of information technology (like software development, integration or operation and maintenance) is preferred
- Familiarity with agile methods and technologies (DevOps, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containerization, container orchestration, IaaS, etc.) is preferred
- Fluency in English (written / oral) with strong communication skills
- Ability to motivate others
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Whilst likes to play independently works well with others
- Curious, analytical mindset and the ability to solve complex problems
- Good stress resistance
