This position plays a critical role in building and leading a newly established R&D hub. The objective is to create a modern, high-performing engineering and research environment that supports the evolution of a complex global digital platform and contributes to the development of new, potentially proprietary solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a new R&D organization from the ground up
- Scale and manage a team of 40–50 professionals through team leads
- Contribute to long-term technology and innovation strategy
- Oversee AI, Data, and software development initiatives
- Collaborate closely with global leadership and distributed teams
- Ensure successful delivery of complex, business-critical projects
- Drive innovation and support the development of new products and solutions
- Establish and optimize organizational processes and engineering practices
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in software engineering, AI, or data domains
- Strong background in team building and scaling organizations
- Strategic mindset with strong business acumen
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Hands-on understanding of modern technologies and development practices
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including senior leadership
