We are currently seeking a Full Stack Developer for a fully remote role within the banking and insurance sector. The engagement runs until the end of the year, with a possibility of extension, and can be carried out within the EU/EEA. You will be involved in end-to-end development, working with Java EE (Jakarta EE) on the backend and Angular on the frontend.
Strong English communication skills are essential, while German language knowledge is considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack applications using Java and Angular
- Design and implement backend services using Java EE (Jakarta EE)
- Build responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces
- Collaborate with team members in an agile development environment
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
- Work with version control systems and manage code repositories
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Java development
- Strong knowledge of Java EE (Jakarta EE)
- Experience with Angular framework
- Proficiency with Git
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Based in the EU/EEA

- Experience with Quarkus
- Familiarity with Hibernate
