Our client is the global IT service provider for a global insurance company and delivers IT solutions that drive the digitalization of the Company Group. With more than 10,000 employees located in 36 countries around the globe, they work together with other insurance entities in leading IT for the worldwide digitalization of the Company. They are now hiring a MEDIOR FULL STACK DEVELOPER.
Tasks
- Gathering, analysing and checking of functional and technical requirements
- Implementation of requirements in given technical design
- Software development in agile teams and input to methods of software engineering
- Develop, maintain, optimize, and service software or application components
- Ensure maintainability of developed software
- Consideration of aspects Performance, data security, IT security and ergonomics/usability in as part of software development
- Ensure operational stability of software
- Collaboration with business experts/analysts and designers
Requirements
- Fluent in written and spoken English (working language)
- Completed studies in mathematics or (business) computer science (FH, BA) or comparable qualification
- Experience in the area of object-oriented application development
- Programming knowledge Java, Angular (backend-heavy position, 80% Java, 20% Angular)
- Frontend skills with a good experience developing SPA applications using Angular framework in preference
- Backend skills with a good experience developing JAVA applications and services with DATA access layer
- Understanding of testing methodologies and testing automatization
- Basic database knowledge (being able to understand the data model and write SQL queries)
- Basic experience with CI/CD tools (preferably Git, GitHub)
- Basic knowledge of the main components and what they are meant for application repositories and chart repositories
- Generic functional understanding of the business features
- Generic architecture knowledge
