Our Budapest-based partner provides IT solutions and services for its ever-growing clientele (primarily financial institutions) all over the world. To support this growth, they now offer a long-term opportunity for a React Frontend Developer.
Main responsibilities
- Design, code, test program or application modules that meet design specification
- Participate in execution and documentation of specification necessary to ensure that an application or technical environment meets performance requirements
- Assist in the integration of technical and application components to meet business requirements
- Learn new, market demanded technologies and products
- Builds testability into software and supports test engineers in writing automated tests (Cypress)
- Clean Code principles are observed
- Teach and support for the non-senior frontend developers
- Support and lead a framework shift in the current product
- Support and maintain the legacy code that written in ExtJS
- Lead the transition from the legacy code to React
Requirements
- Hands-on Senior Frontend Developer with 5+ years of experience
- Development expertise in developing SPA using framework like React
- Must be able to understand and work on non-functional requirements (npm architecture, REST API design, performance, usability)
- HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- UX design experience is beneficial but not necessary
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Fluent in English with solid communication skills
- BSC or MSC degree from IT Technologies
