Our client is the global IT service provider for a global insurance company and delivers IT solutions that drive the digitalization of the Company Group. With more than 10,000 employees located in 36 countries around the globe, they work together with other insurance entities in leading IT for the worldwide digitalization of the Company. They are now hiring a FRONTEND DEVELOPER.
Tasks
- Gathering, analyzing and checking of functional and technical requirements
- Implementation of requirements in given technical design
- Software development in agile teams and input to methods of software engineering
- Develop and later maintain, optimize, and service software or application components
- Ensure maintainability of developed software
- Consideration of aspects Performance, data security, IT security and ergonomics/usability in as part of
- software development
- Ensure operational stability of software
- Collaboration with business experts/analysts and designers
Requirements
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Written and spoken German on intermediate level is an advantage
- Experience in the area of object-oriented and responsive application development
- Experience with common development environments, test methods and software engineering tools (IntelliJ, GIT, Unit-Testing, Jira, etc.)
- Good knowledge of modern IT infrastructure and cloud solutions
- Ability to work independently, high level of commitment, flexibility and resilience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Strong result and quality orientation
- Quick grasp and conceptual, strategic as well as analytical working skills
- Ability to independently execute tasks in non-standard (constantly changing) work situations
Skills and technologies
- Coding / programming skills are required in TypeScript, Angular, RXJS, Jasmine, Rest/HTTP Services, JSON, Java
- Experience with CQRS and event sourcing
- Experience with SonarCube and Jenkins is a plus
- Understanding of test management processes and (related) software (e.g. Jira, SonarCube, Pipelines)
- Develop Angular/TypeScript based frontend and Java/SpringBoot based backend4frontend
- Use of and requirement analysis for service API from backend services
- Development in IntelliJ
- Strong focus on Unit-Testing with Jasmine and Karma
- Cloud environment (AWS, Azure)
