We are seeking for a freelancer Test Automation Engineer for a project. This Test Automation Engineer will analyze, identify, research, and recommend technology and testing automation solutions to meet business and IT system quality standards for a series of projects. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will take part in the planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and operation of our business applications, including participation in all systems life cycle activities, focusing on the testing automation. Within the Asset & Entitlement Management Team, the primary technology platforms are Java based web applications and Salesforce integrations.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Software testing automation development in a Global Agile Team.
- Resolve and identify innovative testing automation solutions to complex and critically sensitive applications.
- Perform other testing duties as required and assigned by the Management team.
- Work collaboratively with global application development teams located in the US, Europe.
Requirements
- A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Understand test automation capabilities and automation tools.
- Understand business and functional requirements as basis of test design.
- Deliver high level test approach considering risks, benefits, and value.
- Knowledge of Software Testing concepts/industry standards/test design techniques (scripts for testing).
- Experience with the python programming language.
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture/Web Services – REST / SOAP.
- Highly self-motivated and able to maintain a high degree of autonomy while also contributing to a dynamic team environment.
- Ability to independently learn and solve complex, ambiguous problems with minimal supervision.
