We are looking for candidates for a 6-months contract position (with potential extension) to assist with a number of research projects to support our client needs meeting regulatory or policy requirements around sustainable investing.
Scope of Responsibility
- The primary responsibility of the Policy Research analyst will be to ensure the analytical rigor of the client´s ESG Researchs Sustainable Finance solutions, including environmental and social adverse impact assessment, alignment with global norms and policy frameworks.
- Developing and testing datasets which measure adverse impact on society and environment based on available regulatory definitions and external frameworks
- Supporting ongoing ESG Research solutions around EU Sustainable Finance, including maintenance of data maps between client´s data and EU regulatory frameworks.
- Contributing to thematic research on topical ESG issues, such as double materiality, corporate sustainability disclosure, or the growth in global taxonomies.
Desired Experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 1+ years of investment research experience with working knowledge of ESG and/or sustainable investing or EU sustainable finance policy
Desired Qualifications
- Expertise in Microsoft office Excel and PowerPoint proficiency is essential
- Experience in quantitative analysis using large data sets
