We are seeking a dedicated Support Consultant – Testing & QA to join our Budapest team. This role is a hybrid of application support and quality assurance, with a primary focus on executing and managing testing efforts for our customized ERP solution built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, including third-party integrations. Over time, the consultant will grow into a subject matter expert (SME) while supporting our customers through release testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.

Your main responsibilities will be
- Lead execution of testing activities for NAXT365 releases and third-party components.
- Run agreed User Acceptance Test (UAT) cases across functional areas (Finance, Operations, Reporting, etc.).
- Document, track, and escalate issues identified during testing.
- Work closely with QA experts and support teams to address defects and process concerns.
- Provide regular status updates and testing results to customers (in English).
- Collaborate with customers to align on acceptance criteria, test scope, and timelines.
- Learn and deepen knowledge of NAXT365 functionality to provide subject matter expertise in future support scenarios.
- Support troubleshooting of NAXT-related issues as needed, in line with SLA commitments.
- Stay up to date on new features, critical changes, and functionalities in the product.
What we expect from you
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in application support, software testing, or ERP consulting.
- Strong understanding of software testing practices, including UAT and regression testing.
- Experience working with SQL queries and troubleshooting data/reporting issues.
- Ability to document test cases, issues, and resolution steps clearly and accurately.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.
Advantages
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or similar ERP systems.
- Knowledge of test automation tools or QA frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, data lakes, or Lakehouse architecture).
- Previous experience in a customer-facing support or consulting role.
