Responsibilities
- Develop and design robust data warehouse solutions to meet the organization´s business requirements. Ensure the architecture aligns with best practices and industry standards.
- Create and maintain data models, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and optimal performance. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define data requirements.
- Design and implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to move and integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse. Optimize ETL workflows for efficiency.
- Monitor and optimize data warehouse performance, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring optimal query response times. Implement performance tuning strategies.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards. Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation for data warehouse architecture, data models, and ETL processes.
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to data warehousing. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance the data warehouse environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Architect or similar role.
- English language skills
- Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL development, and database management.
- Expertise in data warehouse technologies and tools.
- Knowledge of best practices in data governance, data quality, and security.
