Tasks & duties:
- – Operate and keep the IT systems you manage up-to-date (daily operation, error reporting, troubleshooting, event-, incident-, problem-, service and change request management, keep operational documentation up-to-date)
- – Strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resources to application stack traces
- – Secure the realization of development requests manage requests related to development items and -changes from an operational point of view, as well as participate in the testing of modified/new solutions and in their deployment into live environments
- – Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
- – Provide adequate support to business users, receive and manage incidents and problems, make suggestions for resolving change requests
- – Cooperate with the internal organizations and external partners
- – Participate in the elaboration of long-term sustainability of new IT solutions, and in the takeover of new developments
- – Enforces corporate information security guidelines
- – Ensure business continuity and participate in the timely recovery of service in case of system breakdown events
- – Besides the general working hours, provides on-call service
Expectations:
- – MSc or BSc grade in information technology domain
- – 3+ years of IT experience
- – Hardware, software and network knowledge
- – Basic knowledge SOAP, API, XML, JSON
- – Linux experience, scripting knowledge (python, bash, PowerShell etc.)
- – Database and SQL skills
- – ITIL v4 fundamentals
- – Customer oriented mindset, high level problem solving skills
- – English language knowledge – fit for Communication (verbal/written)
- – Excellent communications-, problem handling- and persuasion abilities
Extras you may possess:
- – Experience in Azure, AWS or any other public cloud
- – Java application server administration experience (WebLogic, JBoss, IBM Websphere server etc.)
- – Understanding container orchestration tools OpenShift / Kubernetes / AKS
- – Ability to use monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics etc.
- – DevOps or System Administrator experience
- – CI/CD pipeline / automatization techniques / microservices knowledge or skills
- – Knowledge of log analysis tools (e.g. ELK stack, Graylog, Splunk etc.)
- – API Management Message queuing service knowledge
