Tasks
- Contribute to our in-house built real-time crawler which is an important part of our fraud prevention solution
- Handle release processes for data crawler components (Python)
- System troubleshooting and problem solving across crawler applications
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors
- Configure development and production environments for application requirements
- Build/improve internal monitoring tools (system and application monitoring)Proactively monitor different crawler applications and tune the configuration, automate the recovering from error states
- Propose optimizations for the developers based on the metrics
- Communicate and cooperate with internal and external developers
- Help the support team to troubleshoot incidents related to our crawler stack
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role (Linux)
- Strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to system resources or different applications
- Ability to understand the complete application functionality from development and business perspective as well
- Experience with high performance AWS infrastructure
- Experience with ElasticSearch/Kibana or InfluxDB
- Experience with monitoring and alerting in Grafana
- Experience with Git version control system
- Problem-solving attitude
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Travis CI)
- Fluent English, good communication skills
