We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with Data Engineering experience, who is interested in joining our scrum team for the global reporting tool
Tasks
- DevOps tasks
- – Maintaining and further developing the CI/CD pipeline of the service
- – Configuration and administration of the used infrastructure components
- – Accomplish improvement in performance, reliability, and automation levels.
- Data Engineering tasks
- – Develop new functionalities for the data pipeline (including improving data quality functions, harmonization of data over multiple nationalities and calculating out of it new KPIs for the Dashboard usage)
- -Maintain and improve existing Global Reporting functionalities
Requirements:
- Experience building and optimizing big data pipelines and architectures (Azure Data Factory and Apache spark preferably)
- Practical experience with development/maintenances of CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with Cloud services
- Hands-on experience with relational databases (i.e. PostgreSQL)
- General understanding of Networking and IT Security Principles
- Extensive practical experience with Linux, shell scripting and GIT
- Working Experience with Kubernetes and Docker containers
- Active English knowledge in oral and written is a must
Other Skills
- Experience with Databricks, Synapse, Terraform, Helm, Python is a big plus
- – Experience with Data Governance Frameworks (e.g. Informatica) and principles is a plus
- Bachelor (BSc), Master (MSc) or equivalent experience in a technical field (for example, Computer Science, Engineering)
- German language is a plus
- DevOps mindset (you build it, you run it taking responsibility for your work)
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and tools
- Team-player open to work in an agile and flexible environment
