Reporting to the BI Manager, the BW Engineer is responsible for the Development, Maintenance and Technical support of our BW systems.
BW Engineer will have a global understanding of the whole BW environment to shape the system to work efficiently. Our new colleague will play a leading role in the BW team, helping other Trivium BW resources but also managing our 3rd party partners in this domain.
Your responsibilities will be
- Lead, help and inspire other BW internal and external (3rd party) colleagues to fulfil business requests
- Deal with everyday technical support of our BW system e.g process chains, harmonized master data, BEx queries and BEx reports
- Manage the whole BW system
- Create a common understanding and trustful relationship with business
- Explain what we can & cant do in BW
- Receive, organize and prioritize business requirements (BRD) in line with BI strategy
- Continuous BW processes improvement and better ways of working
- Improve user experience on BW Reports Design, Speed performance
- Anticipate and plan BW version upgrades
- Work closely with PMO and Infrastructure department on project execution and delivering stable BI platform environment
- Collaborate with FAM/TAM Manager regarding BI release management process
This role will suit you if you have the following
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a BW technical role
- Some work experience in relation with other front-end dashboarding tool that SAP would be appreciated QlikView- QlikSense, Power BI
- Experience in involving or leading 3rd party System Integrators
- Basic knowledge in one or more of the following functional areas SAP FI/CO, SD, PP and/or MM
- Confident English language skills
- Service minded, ability to balance between following procedures and providing pragmatic solutions
- Excellent people skills, able to communicate effectively and deal with the challenges of multiple projects
