Our partner is reinventing itself from an IOC to an IEC, with digital capability at the core of this vision. The Innovation & Engineering (I&E) team underpins the Trading & Shipping business unit and is building a dynamic team in Hungary to drive significant growth.
Tasks
- Support the delivery of business analysis, consulting processes, and system improvements
- Audit, test, and validate user-developed applications (UDAs) to ensure compliance with control processes
- Work with applications developed in Excel, Access, Power BI, Python, VBA, and citizen developer platforms (e.g., Dataiku, Salesforce)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and bring deep specialist expertise to integrate strategic technology platforms
- Apply Agile delivery and DevOps practices for efficient software delivery
- Contribute to improving lifecycle methods, design, and documentation of digital services
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of application testing experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps)
- High attention to detail and ability to identify design deficiencies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, including senior executives
- Continuous learning mindset and adaptability
Desirable
- Experience with Python, VBA, or other programming languages (Java, C/C++, Go)
- Background in Finance or Trading environments
- Project management experience in IT-led projects
- Knowledge of modern service delivery methods (SRE, ITIL, Product-based delivery)
