We are looking for a new member of a mobile team by a digital development company based in the Netherlands.
As they have several nationalities in their team, English is the way to go.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Working on several projects (agile by using the Scrum-method)
- Coding in different languages on different platforms, but all within one team
- Tools & Frameworks Android,Kotlin(new fetures),Java (provide support),Firebase,Gradle,Git,Android SDK
- Working with watches, Apple/Google TV, domotica, Siri, Alexa and other smart (home) devices
- Exploring and testing these devices and, in case they are stable, implementing them for their clients
- Checking out the newest releases
- Working closely with our designers (or sometimes a specialized Design agency)
- Sometimes surprising our clients with something extra, for example an extra Apple watch app that we secretly build, or a Siri connection which makes it possible to use the app via Siri
- Showing and explaining the own work to the client during kickoffs, meetings, demos and retrospectives
We are looking for you if you have:
- Several years (3+) of experience as Android Developer
- Strong Kotlin knowledge
- Willingness to move abroad (Netherlands)
- Good spoken and written English (work proficiency)
- Able to work independently
- Persuade, passioned and problem solver attitude
- Able to communicate with the clients
- Eager to build the best solutions
