We are looking for an Analytics and Research Associate to join the Global Marketing Research, Analytics, & Data team of our multinational client. In this role, you will take complex datasets and turn them into clear, concise, and engaging insights for the clients partners and stakeholders that help them better understand and serve their clients.
Responsibilities
- Acquire, clean, and analyze marketing, client, and financial data using a variety of tools and languages
- Design, develop, and execute statistical analyses and data science projects
- Make data and insights accessible through beautifully designed, intuitive visualizations
- Collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders to improve the effectiveness of business decisions through the use of data science, machine learning, and predictive modeling
- Utilize effective project planning techniques to break down complex cross-functional projects into bite-size tasks
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science and analytics
- Strong SQL skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python or R)
- Ability to quickly visualize complex data (using whatever tool gets the job done, such as Tableau, PowerBI, ggplot2, d3.js)
- Expertise in data storytelling and presenting complicated technical concepts to non-technical senior leaders
Nice to have
- MS degree or PhD in a highly quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
- solid record of using data science to drive business impact across a variety of settings
- experience in – and or a strong interest in – finance and/or marketing
